Founded at Cornell University, Heritage cholars is designed to educate and empower select Jewish University students across the country to become knowledgeable and passionate about their Jewish heritage. Heritage Scholars will inspire and challenge you; it will open your mind and excite you about your Jewish heritage.  

Heritage Scholars is offering you a unique opportunity to explore your
Jewish roots. Each campus coordinator design his or her own curriculum and
structure, catering to the dynamic needs and interests of the student body.
Students participate in an interactive weekly course covering a range of
relevant issues relating to practical ideas of Life, Leadership and Judaism.

Additionally, they participate in an online dialogue with their local
educator sharing their impressions and thoughts on each educational
experience. They also have the opportunity to blog with other students on
campus and nationwide through our online forum.

University Heritage Society hosts regional and national invitational
conferences to further galvanize the sense of community and leadership among
the students.

Upon completion of the series scholars are awarded a diploma from UHS and a
voucher. Heritage Scholars' vouchers can be redeemed for a cash value or can
be redeemed at a greater value towards programming and trips provided by the
University Heritage Society, such as, Heritage Retreats, Heritage Israel, or
other national Jewish educational programs partnering with the University
Heritage Society.
